Holmfirth’s Food and Drink Festival takes over the town on Saturday 12 and Sunday 13 September. Stalls run 10am–6pm on Saturday, with the Towngate pitches by the bus station open until 8pm, and 10am–5pm on Sunday. It’s free to wander: food markets, live music and family entertainment, organised by the local CIC that has staged the weekend since 2005.
