The public celebration lands on Saturday 26 and Sunday 27 September. The Library Hub opens from 9.30am on Saturday, with Lego Club, Chess Club, Knit and Natter, a family Library Adventures Trail and Makerspace demos inside. Queensgate Square has live music, workshops, games and food from 12 noon to 5pm on Saturday, then another full free day on Sunday. Drop in — no booking unless a later programme listing says otherwise.
