Charlie Cook loves reading, especially books about pirates. However, his sister despises it, finding it quite boring. Charlie endeavors to convince her that reading can be enjoyable. Perhaps, if she were to read a book about a pirate who, in turn, is engrossed in a book about Goldilocks, who, in a similar fashion, is reading a book about a knight…
The audience is invited to delve into a variety of books with Charlie Cook, an experience brought to life through puppetry and enchanting songs. Perhaps they will be able to assist Charlie’s sister in discovering the wonderful world contained within the pages of a book.
The event will take place from Tuesday, May 21, 2024, to Thursday, May 23, 2024, in the Main House, at the Lawrence Batley Theatre.
Tickets are priced at £15.00 – £17.00, and the duration of the performance is 60 minutes.
