The Huddersfield Philharmonic Orchestra closes its 2025–26 concert season with Echoes of the Romantic North, an atmospheric evening of orchestral music inspired by the landscapes and folklore of northern Europe. Conducted by Katherine Stonham, the programme features Mendelssohn’s magical Overture: A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Dvořák’s dramatic symphonic poem The Water Goblin, Grieg’s lively Norwegian Dances, and Brahms’ deeply expressive Symphony No. 3. Performed in the beautiful setting of Holy Trinity Church, this concert promises sweeping melodies, rich orchestral textures, and a powerful celebration of the Romantic era.
