Spend a morning or afternoon of half term at Cliffe House in Shepley, picking a pumpkin from the patch and carving it on the spot. Sessions run daily from Monday 26 to Friday 30 October, between 10am and 4pm, in bookable 30-minute slots. It’s £6 per pumpkin and open to all ages. The carving is done under cover, but bring wellies because the patch can get muddy. A few wheelbarrows are available, first come, first served. Book through Kirklees Town Halls. Online booking closes at 11.59pm the night before, and children must be supervised.
