Huddersfield and District Round Table’s big bonfire night has a new home this year: the DRAM Sports and Community Centre, just off Ridgeway in Dalton (HD5 9QJ), on Saturday 7 November. Gates open at 5pm, the bonfire is lit at 6.30pm and the Pyro2000 fireworks start at 7.30pm. There’s a fairground, stalls, food and a bar, and the new site has better parking. Early-bird tickets are £5 for adults and £2 for under-16s if you book online by 31 October, and you’ll get a QR code for entry. Every penny raised goes to good causes in Huddersfield. Wear wellies, and leave sparklers, alcohol and glass at home.
