A warm, neighbourly day out for all ages, Berry Brow Carnival returns with a packed programme of family fun. This year it is opened by Yorkshire Vet star Matt Smith, with performances from drum group Valley Beats, cheerleaders and Irish dancers. There will be stalls from local groups, donkey rides, a tea and cake tent and free activities including Lego, painting and circus skills. The kind of grassroots community celebration that makes Huddersfield’s villages so special.
