As a small independent family owned business, the Pickled Pheasant journey started back in 2013. Having been a public house for many a decade, they discovered the pub both empty and derelict. In contrast, whilst Holmfirth and its surrounding area is absolutely beautiful and so there began the vision, and a lovely restored country pub reopened its doors in November 2013.
