A warm welcome and a generous Continental breakfast awaits you at our chalet bungalow in Slaithwaite where guests have the exclusive use of the top floor – a large, bright bedroom, separate bathroom with roll-top bath and walk-in shower, and a dining/sitting area equipped with tea and coffee making facilities, toaster and a fridge.
A complementary Continental breakfast is included, consisting of fruit salad, homemade bread, local yoghurts and a range of quality teas, coffee, cereals and preserves. In addition to the guest suite itself, we are happy for our guests to wander round the garden or sit on our patio when the Yorkshire weather permits! On-street car parking is available.
The property is situated in a very quiet cul-de-sac with lovely views of the surrounding fields and National Trust moorland, yet is just a few minutes’ stroll from the centre of the vibrant village of Slaithwaite. The public footpath which runs beside our house gives easy access to a network of glorious walks, and the covered veranda at the rear of our
property is a secure place to leave bikes or walking boots. Even though we are so conveniently located for the many shops, restaurants, bars and pubs in the village, the peace and quiet here is usually only disturbed by the sound of sheep, cattle or birds. We are a 10 minute walk to the train station on the Trans Pennine line, with trains to Huddersfield, Leeds, York, Manchester and Liverpool.

PLEASE NOTE : The suite is located in the converted eaves of the
bungalow which means that there is restricted height at the sides of the
rooms. We operate a two-night minimum stay policy, and can
accommodate a maximum of two guests. Also, we have a small cat,
Lola, whom guests may encounter during their visit.
