An exciting opportunity has become available for a Multi-Skilled Joiner to join the team at Link Contracting Services Ltd, a family-run business with a strong reputation for excellence in maintenance, planned works, M&E, and compliance services.
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality reactive maintenance and planned work to a range of clients in the local authority, education, retail, and private sectors. This is a key role for someone with a keen eye for detail, strong customer service skills, and a proactive attitude.
Key responsibilities include:
• Carrying out joinery tasks and other associated trades work in various commercial and public buildings
• Responding to reactive maintenance calls and planned work requirements
• Ensuring all work meets safety standards and HSQE protocols
• Maintaining positive relationships with clients through excellent communication
• Operating as a professional ambassador for the company on every visit
The ideal candidate will have:
• Experience in the facilities management, retail, or public building sectors
• NVQ or City & Guilds qualification in a relevant trade
• A full UK driving licence (essential due to travel requirements)
• A flexible and customer-focused approach
• Strong communication skills and a commitment to safety
In return, the successful applicant will receive:
• A salary between £29,351 and £31,112 per year, with potential to earn £35,000+
• A 40-hour per week contract
• On-call standby payments and door-to-door pay for callouts at overtime rate
