Mental Health Nurse

An opportunity has arisen for a skilled and compassionate Mental Health Nurse to join Evolve Psychology Services as part of their expanding Adult Services team. This role involves conducting high-quality, evidence-based Autism assessments for adults, contributing to meaningful improvements in neurodevelopmental care.
Based within a hybrid working model across one of Evolve’s UK clinics—Huddersfield, Harrogate, Exeter, Norwich or Gosforth—this position offers the flexibility of remote working alongside the benefits of collaborative in-person support where required. Clinicians must be able to travel to a designated clinic for hybrid roles.

Key responsibilities include:
• Delivering specialist Autism assessments using recognised diagnostic tools
• Conducting detailed clinical interviews and observations
• Producing comprehensive, timely reports with diagnostic outcomes and recommendations
• Collaborating within a multidisciplinary team to ensure the highest standards of care
• Supporting and mentoring junior staff where appropriate
• Maintaining accurate records in line with NHS and professional standards
• Participating in training, clinical supervision, and continuous professional development
Essential criteria:
• NMC registered Mental Health Nurse
• Experience in neurodevelopmental assessment, particularly with adults
• Familiarity with DSM-5 diagnostic criteria
• Strong report writing and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a wider team
Desirable:
• Training in ADOS-2 and/or ADI-R
• Experience conducting ADHD assessments
• Experience mentoring or supervising others
