Thorncliffe Grange, located in the village of Emley, West Yorkshire, has a rich history of farming and raising high-quality local cattle for nearly two centuries.
The Parker family acquired the farm in 1826, and today it operates as a beef, diary, and arable farm with a dairy herd of 350 cows. As the farm has passed down through six generations of the Parker family, they continue to take great pride in raising their own cattle and providing the majority of their meat.
The farm’s beautiful tasting rooms offer visitors a chance to relax and enjoy fresh, local, and seasonal produce from the farm shop. The menu includes breakfast options, hot and cold lunches, afternoon tea, and homemade cakes that are freshly prepared in their kitchens.
Guests can choose to dine indoors or outdoors, enjoying the stunning views over the rolling hills of Emley.
